S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 Delayed Till December 2022: Here’s What We Know

GSC Game World is best known for its S.T.A.L.-K-E series of first-person shooter and survival horror games, particularly STALKER (STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl).

The first game S.T.A.L.K.E.R, was published in 2007. The game takes place in the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone, where an unexpected fluctuation occurred that affected all physical, chemical, and biological systems. Mutants and other anomalies appeared as a result of this event, as well as odd precious treasures.

We Can Be Heroes 2: When will the Sequel Release?

S.T.A.L.K.E.R.'s name is a shortened form of Scavengers, Trespassers, Adventurers, Loners, Killers, Explorers, and Robbers (SSTALKER). The Roadside Picnic by the Strugatsky brothers and the film Stalker by Andrei Tarkovsky have influenced the franchise's success. There are three SSTALKER games out now; a fourth game is in development for 2022 called S.T A L K E R 2: Heart of Chernobyl. The first four games are available to play as free downloads at Steam. They're called S.T.A.L.K.E., Clear Sky, and Call of Pripyat (the last game in the franchise). The franchise is quite well-known and favorably reviewed, with all three S.TAMLER games having sold over 15 million copies as of 2021.

About S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chernobyl

GSC Game World's US-based S.T.A.L.K.EER 2 is an as-yet-untitled game set to be published in 2021. Nothing is known about the plot of the game at this time, except for its location, which is similar to that of its predecessor in the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone.

It will include dangerous mutants, factions, and (maybe) priceless relics from a previous era. The game will be a first-person shooter and is the fourth installment in the Sedge series. In August 2021, GSC Game Media stated that S.Tirrel 2 was ready for Unreal Engine 5 development.

GSC Game Media has listed some crucial information about S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2, and they are:

The game is set in 2021, and everything will be different. It's a first-person shooter with horror and immersive simulation that takes place in 2021.

The players will take part in a non-linear narrative that will develop around them in a post-apocalyptic zone. The player's future is at stake.

It is anticipated that the game will support extensive modding by the user community, allowing it to become more full of content and enjoyable to play. The game is entirely built on Unreal Engine 5.

There will be a multiplayer plan for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 as soon as it is published, according to reports from the developers themselves that we've obtained and verified."

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 System Requirements

The game's official system requirements have become available. Because S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2 is a power-consuming and heavy game, if your PC does not fulfill your needs, upgrade it.

The game was to be released in 2012, with development on S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2 stopping two years after the announcement with no clear cause given. In 2018, GSC Game World published the first build of a brand new S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2, which was created by Sergei Grigorovich in a podcast interview saying that the early reveal was intended to create interest for S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2 and secure a publishing agreement at E3 2018 or Electronic Entertainment Expo 2018.

STALKER 2: Heart of Chernobyl was officially unveiled at the Microsoft/Bethesda press conference in E3 2021. The game's initial release date was April 28, 2022, but GSC Game World announced on January 12, 2022 that the game would be delayed another seven months. As a result, S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2: Heart of Chernobyl will be available to download on December 8, 2022.

It will appear on Microsoft Windows 10 and 11, as well as Android and iOS. It will be a console exclusive for Xbox X/S, with a release date of spring 2020.
